Senior Hardware Design Engineer — Camera & Embedded AI

The role

Build the camera electronics and embedded AI board inside our industrial vision products — and take them from architecture through bring-up, validation and production, so they run reliably on factory floors at scale.

What you will do

• Turn product requirements into a hardware architecture, component choices and documented trade-offs.
• Design camera electronics around image sensors and MIPI CSI-2 — power, clocking, reset and reliable data transfer.
• Design or lead the design of SoC / compute-module carrier boards with Ethernet, USB, storage and industrial I/O.
• Own schematics and review multilayer, high-speed PCB layout, stack-up and routing.
• Plan first power-on and bring-up; debug methodically with lab equipment and logs.
• Take boards through validation and production: test points, DFM/DFT, EVT/DVT/PVT, manufacturing handover.
• Find the root cause of field failures and make sure they don't come back.

Who we are looking for

• 5+ years of hands-on electronics product development — typically 5–12.
• You personally helped take at least one product into production — not only a prototype or an academic project.
• Multilayer PCB design and review, and real board bring-up.
• Hands-on with some of: MIPI CSI-2, DDR/LPDDR, USB 3.x, PCIe, Gigabit Ethernet.
• Comfortable working with embedded Linux and software engineers at the hardware/software boundary.
• Good to have: Rockchip, NXP, NVIDIA Jetson or Qualcomm platforms; camera integration; SI/PI, thermal and EMI/EMC; EMS partners and production test.

Your first year

• A clear architecture and risk list before committing to a PCB spin.
• Fewer avoidable board revisions.
• Boards that bring up methodically and hand over to manufacturing cleanly.
• A plan for reliability, yield and serviceability as volume grows.
